Section 4 · Trust and accountability
Quality, safeguarding & governance
We aim to provide a thoughtful, accountable service with clear boundaries, appropriate oversight and respect for every person.
Safeguarding and escalation
Describe the safeguarding lead, how concerns are recorded and escalated, and the appropriate emergency or statutory routes. Do not imply a procedure is in operation unless it is established.
Confidentiality and data protection
Explain how information is kept confidential, accessed only where needed, retained appropriately and handled in line with your privacy notice and applicable data-protection requirements.
Complaints and risk
Set out how people can raise a concern, how it will be acknowledged and reviewed, and how hazards or incidents are assessed, documented and acted upon.
Inclusive, suitable practice
Describe your commitment to equality, accessible participation, respectful practice and appropriate checks, training and supervision for anyone delivering activities.
Please verify this statement against approved policies and actual practice before publication. Clearly label procedures that are established and identify any that are still being developed.
Section 5 · Learning and impact
Outcomes & social value
We will use proportionate, privacy-conscious measures to understand who our activities reach, what participants find useful and where we can improve.
Participation and reach
Track attendance and participation at activities, alongside the number of people reached, using clear definitions and appropriate aggregate reporting.
Feedback and confidence
Invite optional participant feedback and, where suitable, use simple before-and-after reflections on confidence or health literacy. Report findings honestly, including limitations.
Connections and engagement
Record appropriate onward connections and community engagement without sharing identifiable information unnecessarily. Define what counts as a referral or connection.
Local value
For future council opportunities, explain how planned activities may support relevant local priorities. Name partnerships or claim outcomes only when they are evidenced and agreed.
